I would suggest skipping "outdoorsmanship" and "excursions" altogether and instead opting for something along the lines of "A site for outdoor enthusiasts", with perhaps additions such as this is a prescient issuecamping, an option might be "outdoor enthusiasts"climbing, canoing, etc. to help convey the general idea of what we mean by "the great outdoors".
